BackupHDDVD confirmed as effective

HD DVDIt has been interesting to watch events thus far unfold as a community of skilled individuals sprang up around BackupHDVD, and as of a couple of days ago it has been positively confirmed that AACS has been bypassed.

It seems that the Japanese version of WinDVD was the culprit with the most insecure keys in memory (although it has to be said that all the software players have to have them in memory at some point), and Serenity seems to have been one of the first (if not the first) to be proven on.

If proof is said to be in the eating then there is no shortage of food, keys are starting to spring up all over the net.

I await the response of the content industry.
