The New York Times often has good election coverage, and the current race to pick a US presidential candidate is no exception.  One of the gems on their web site uses an interesting data visualisation technique to produce a variant of a network diagram.  The result is fascinating:

I can&#039;t really claim that I found this, a friend of mine Digg&#039;d it, and it is two years old, but it is still fresh.  Especially given my &lt;a href=&quot;/blog/keith/2007/aspect-intelligent-design-agenda&quot;&gt;earlier blog post on intelligent design&lt;/a&gt;.

My favorite quote from this article is by a pastor named Ray Mummert:  &amp;quot;We&#039;ve been attacked,&amp;quot; he says, &amp;quot;by the intelligent, educated segment of the culture.&amp;quot;
