The New York Times often has good election coverage, and the current race to pick a US presidential candidate is no exception. One of the gems on their web site uses an interesting data visualisation technique to produce a variant of a network diagram. The result is fascinating:

I can't really claim that I found this, a friend of mine Digg'd it, and it is two years old, but it is still fresh. Especially given my earlier blog post on intelligent design.

My favorite quote from this article is by a pastor named Ray Mummert: "We've been attacked," he says, "by the intelligent, educated segment of the culture."

Oh boy.
